Ella's on 2nd at Hyatt Centric Nashville is seeking a friendly Part-Time Host to welcome guests and manage seating during service. You will help answer calls, assist with reservations, and ensure a smooth dining flow while maintaining a clean, welcoming work environment.

The ideal candidate has strong guest service skills, good communication, and a positive demeanor to support servers and kitchen staff during busy service periods.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $21.00 Hourly

Host Key Responsibilities:

• To provide courteous, prompt service to our guests
• Answer incoming phone calls within a timely manner
• Seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing clean menu in front of guest.
• Adhere to seating guidelines to ensure equitable distribution amongst servers
• Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
• Assist with take out orders
• Monitor dining areas for seating availability, service, safety and well being of guests.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Thank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell
• Manage reservations
• Successfully adhere to Steps of Service
• Working knowledge of menu and beverage offerings
• Ability to communicate guest requests, including dietary restrictions, to culinary staff
• Perform opening and closing duties
• Help to maintain a clean and presentable work environment
• Maintain a positive, outgoing demeanor during service
• Be safety conscious to promote the safety of ones self, co-workers and guests at all times
• Adhere to company policy and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
