Job summary

Virgin Hotels Nashville is seeking a part-time guest services associate to greet guests, coordinate seating, and deliver warm, sincere service in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain guest profiles, assist teammates, uphold safety standards, and contribute to memorable experiences. Must be able to stand for long periods, communicate clearly in English, and hold a valid Foodservice Handler Card.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
• Prior guest service experience is preferred (1–2 years).
• Must have current Foodservice Handler Card.
• Legal eligibility to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Greet, interact and bid farewell to guests in a warm, genuine and enthusiastic fashion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment including stocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness of menus and tables.
• Provide lateral service including assisting in clearing tables and carrying plates to the dishwashing area.
• Maintain guest profiles and preferences in a database for staff use.
• Be a team player and coordinate with colleagues to deliver outstanding service.
• Adhere to hotel policies including attendance, safety, and professional appearance.

What exactly you will be doing…

In helping you understand your role in working for a world class organization, the following is a list of your essential job responsibilities. Please keep in mind that this list is not all inclusive and that you may be asked to perform other job tasks by your supervisors/managers not listed below in the constant quest to provide “out of this world” customer service experience for our guests :

• Greet, interact and bid farewell to guests in a warm and genuine and enthusiastic fashion
• Use excellent communication skills with guests, staff including verbal, written and body language
• Maintain a cleanandorganized work environment including stocking of supplies, polishing cutlery/glassware, folding napkins, cleaning menus,sanitizing tables,etc.
• Provide lateral service including assisting in clearing tables, carry plates to dishwashing area when needed
• Maintain guest profile, preferences in a database for distribution to staff
• Be a team player!

Background must-have :

• Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the USA.
• High school or equivalent education required.
• Required: Current Foodservice Handler Card valid for minimum of 6 months.
• Required: 1-2 years in a guest service position.
