Thrive Restaurant Group in Sanford, NC, is seeking a Restaurant Hospitality Supervisor (Hourly) to lead our hospitality team, overseeing dining room and kitchen operations, and to help deliver outstanding guest experiences while driving a profitable operation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a casual dining restaurant
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a supervisory role
• Able to make decisions and resolve problems
• Able to guide, direct, and motivate staff
• Able to plan and prioritize tasks
• Able to teach and train staff
• Able to monitor processes, materials, and resources
• Able to operate, repair, and maintain equipment
• Able to perform administrative tasks
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices and regulations
• Able to deal with confidential information with discretion

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the operation of the dining room and kitchen
• Assist Managers with recruiting, leading, training, and developing staff
• Provide vision, coaching, and feedback on guest experience
• Foster teamwork and positive working environment
• Oversee opening and closing activities
• Ensure excellent customer service
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and security policies
• Monitor team duties during peak times to expedite service
• Oversee food/beverage delivery, portion sizes, and garnishing to standards
• Investigate and resolve guest complaints
• Report personnel problems to Managers
• Learn and train about restaurant management; pursue education opportunities
• Perform manual service or maintenance tasks as needed
• Learn administrative and accounting duties per company policy (forecasting, scheduling, budgeting, labor, inventory)
