Houchens Food Group is seeking a General Manager to lead a single restaurant. You will oversee daily operations, ensure quality food and service, supervise the management team and staff, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

The role requires the ability to work long or irregular hours, manage budgets and scheduling, and maintain records. You will monitor financial results, inventory, cash handling, and reports, while delivering outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations ensuring quality food, service, and sanitation.
• Supervise management and hourly staff.
• Assign and direct daily work for staff.
• Maintain restaurant equipment and grounds in good condition.
• Enter inventory into the restaurant's computer system.
• Meet budgetary expectations including cost control and staffing efficiency.
• Reconcile cash at open/close and deposit receipts daily.
• Prepare administrative reports per company policies.
