Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive sales, and ensure guest satisfaction through strong leadership and adherence to company standards.

You will supervise staff, recruit and train, maintain safe food handling, manage budgets, and report performance. Requirements include two years of management experience, a high school diploma, clear communication, cash handling, and multitasking.

Qualifications

• Two years previous experience in a management role
• High school diploma; some college or degree preferred
• Must be able to communicate clearly with guests and vendors in person and by telephone
• Must be able to operate the cash register
• Must be able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Achieve plan profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
• Plan and analyze unit manpower and training for all employees.
• Recruit, train, and conduct new hire orientation.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and merit increases.
• Attend University of Perkins and complete coursework.
• Maintain ServSafe certification.
• Supervise all restaurant functions and ensure proper food handling and sanitation.
• Schedule and staff to meet productivity and service standards.
• Manage facilities, equipment, and safety compliance.
• Prepare financial reports and monitor operating expenses.
