Job summary

Valley Hospitality in Columbus, GA seeks a hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to direct daily operations and ensure guest satisfaction across our restaurant and bar.

You will hire and onboard new team members, enforce sanitation and safety standards, manage inventory and ordering, review menus with staff, and address guest feedback to uphold service excellence. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in hiring, onboarding and training staff.
• Ability to manage sanitation and regulatory compliance.
• Strong inventory, cost control and menu coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire and onboard all new employees per standards.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary environment and follow liquor laws.
• Manage inventory and ordering of food, equipment, and supplies.
• Review menu changes with staff and ensure accurate execution.
• Monitor service quality by visiting tables and handling guest feedback.
• Conduct staff performance reviews and participate in meetings.
• Oversee tip reporting and perform other duties as assigned.
