Job summary

DC Burger Inc. is seeking a hands-on Restaurant General Manager to own a location, lead a high-performing team, and drive profitable operations. You’ll coach managers and crew, optimize scheduling, inventory, and safety, and ensure consistent guest experiences that build loyalty.

You’ll use data to improve performance, control costs, and execute local marketing, all while maintaining brand standards and compliance in a fast-paced, in-person setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of management experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality.
• At least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Business mindset with experience managing costs and driving results.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and basic office software.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and focused on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop a Winning Team: Build, train, and inspire a strong team of Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Crew. Create a positive, high-energy culture where people feel valued and motivated.
• Own the Operations: Oversee daily operations including scheduling, inventory, food safety, and facility upkeep. Ensure smooth shifts delivering speed, accuracy, and quality.
• Drive Results & Profitability: Own P&L, manage labor and costs, and identify opportunities to improve profitability. Use data to drive decisions and local marketing.
• Deliver an Exceptional Guest Experience: Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service. Resolve guest concerns and build loyalty.
• Support Compliance & Standards: Ensure food safety, sanitation, and labor guidelines are followed. Lead by example in a safe, clean, compliant environment.
