Job summary

Firehouse Subs in the United States is seeking a General Manager who can lead a busy restaurant to deliver exceptional guest service, maintain compliance with health and safety rules, and manage daily operations with a focus on profitability and team development.

This role requires strong leadership, effective communication with the GM/Owner, and a hands-on approach to Training, scheduling, and local marketing activities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a restaurant or similar service operation.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations affecting food service.
• Proven ability to drive guest satisfaction and store profitability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health, wage, age, ADA, OSHA regulations.
• Enforce Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
• Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of service, quality, and cleanliness.
• Manage food cost, labor, utilities, and sales growth within guidelines.
• Coordinate and implement current operations game plans and company initiatives.
• Staff the restaurant with qualified, well-trained personnel.
• Develop and train the restaurant Assistant Manager and Shift Managers.
• Participate in local restaurant marketing and community initiatives.
