Job summary

Nudyscafes in Chester County seeks a General Manager to own the guest experience, sales, food cost, ordering, inventory, scheduling, and overall four-wall operations.

You will lead hospitality initiatives, coach the Assistant Manager, Culinary Lead, Shift Leaders, and FOH/BOH teams; ensure Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintain par levels, and uphold safety and quality standards. This role reports to the Regional Operations Manager and requires a food-safety certification.

Qualifications

• Restaurant management experience at GM level.
• Knowledge of sales building, schedule execution, inventory, food cost, safety, cash controls, and employee leadership.
• Ability to use Toast, 7shifts, and established operating systems.
• Required food-safety certification and availability for key operating periods.

Responsibilities

• Own sales growth, guest experience, hospitality, and operating standards.
• Provide availability, time-off, and performance input; execute FOH schedule.
• Ensure qualified Manager-on-Duty coverage for openings, operations, and closings.
• Review food and supply orders; maintain pars and prevent stockouts or over-ordering.
• Coach and develop Assistant Manager, Culinary Lead, Shift Leaders, and team.
• Inspect restaurant conditions and equipment; report issues via maintenance process.
• Follow safety procedures; ensure repairs are completed and restaurant restored to standard.
• Escalate unresolved issues to RM and Coordinator.
• Develop a qualified successor and ensure consistent execution when GM is away.
