Role Overview

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will create a positive restaurant culture, develop a high-performing team, and ensure every guest receives great food and a great experience. Your restaurant should be a place where people enjoy working, operations run smoothly, and standards are maintained consistently even when you are not on-site.

Key Priorities

Build and Develop Your Team

• Recruit, hire, and retain top Team Members and Shift Leads.
• Lead thorough orientation and onboarding for new hires.
• Follow a structured training plan to build a strong restaurant team.
• Coach and develop Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members.
• Complete Restaurant People Plans and support bench planning.
• Conduct manager meetings and one-on-one conversations with Team Members.
• Consistently recognize and reward strong performance.
• Address and resolve restaurant conflicts in a timely, professional manner.

Drive Customer Satisfaction

• Model positive, professional interactions with customers.
• Ensure customer concerns are resolved quickly and effectively.
• Create schedules that meet the needs of the business.
• Coach the management team on delivering an excellent customer experience.

Maintain Sales, Profitability, and Operational Discipline

• Analyze restaurant financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Create and execute follow-up plans that maximize results without compromising the customer experience.
• Manage the restaurant budget and maintain accountability around sales and profit goals.
