Job summary

R&G Lounge in San Francisco is seeking a General Manager to lead the restaurant's business performance, own the P&L, and guide the management team. You will work closely with the CEO, CFO, and Head Chef to drive profitability, labor planning, and guest experience.

This role requires hands-on leadership in a high-volume, full-service setting with deep financial acumen, Cantonese/Mandarin skills preferred, and a track record of system implementations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience, including P&L responsibility.
• Experience managing high-volume, full-service operations.
• Cantonese or Mandarin proficiency preferred.
• Experience leading system implementations (POS, reservations, scheduling).
• Strong leadership, accountability, and ability to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Own the restaurant's P&L, review revenue, labor, food costs, and operating expenses weekly.
• Lead the management team, coach managers, and report performance to the CEO.
• Improve systems and processes across operations and training.
• Oversee events, catering, and marketing initiatives to drive business.
• Maintain service standards, guest experience, safety, and compliance.
