Job summary

Upward Projects, LLC is seeking a General Manager to drive guest satisfaction and financial performance across its restaurant portfolio in Houston. You will lead and coach store leaders, hire and develop talent, uphold brand standards, and partner with regional teams to optimize operations and local marketing.

Responsibilities include controlling costs, delivering extraordinary guest experiences, and promoting a culture of hospitality and accountability.

Qualifications

• 1 year of GM experience in full-service restaurant or 3–5 years in restaurant management.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Hospitality, Management, or Business preferred.
• Servsafe and Responsible Alcohol Service Certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Coach, develop, and lead store leadership teams.
• Attract, retain, and grow talent; conduct performance reviews.
• Promote engagement, open communication, and team-building.
• Lead store communications and change adoption.
• Uphold brand standards and execution for guest experience.
• Own P&L accountability; analyze results and drive profitability.
• Use scorecards to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with ADs and Lab to optimize operations.
