Potbelly Sandwich Works in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a General Manager to lead the shop, foster a welcoming culture, and drive performance. You will oversee operations, staffing, guest experience, and P&L to ensure a consistently excellent Potbelly experience.

Requirements include at least 2 years as a General Manager in a restaurant or retail setting with P&L responsibility, Food Safety certification, and strong communication, problem solving and scheduling skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of at least 2 years as a General Manager in a restaurant or retail environment with P&L responsibility preferred.
• Must meet Food Safety requirements and obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; problem-solving abilities and scheduling aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop shop team members to realize their potential.
• Assess staff abilities and create development plans.
• Interview, select and hire great people.
• Develop and maintain Good Vibes culture and retention.
• Effectively schedule Associates and Shift Leaders; manage shop floor operations.
• Ensure health and safety standards and food safety compliance.
• Handle customer complaints and drive marketing to maximize sales.
