Job summary

Jalapeño Tree is seeking a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations in Gun Barrel City, TX. You will drive guest satisfaction, ensure quality and cleanliness, and manage labor, inventory, and financial performance.

The role requires 2+ years as a General Manager or strong Assistant Manager, a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and strong leadership and communication skills. Training begins at Tyler, TX before taking home store responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a General Manager or strong Assistant Manager in a full-service or fast-paced restaurant.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and guest service abilities.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, cost controls, and P&L management.
• Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front- and back-of-house operations, labor scheduling, inventory management, and financial performance.
• Drive guest satisfaction and uphold brand standards.
• Train and develop managers and hourly staff; maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Resolve guest issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Complete initial training at the Tyler, TX location before assuming home store responsibilities.
