Job summary

Join the Jalapeño Tree family as General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with a focus on quality, service, cleanliness, and team development. Training will occur at the Tyler, TX location before assuming home store responsibilities.

You will drive guest satisfaction, ensure brand standards, and oversee budgeting, cost controls, and P&L management while leading managers and hourly staff to deliver Crazy Good Mexican Food™ in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as GM or strong Assistant Manager in a full-service or fast-paced restaurant
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
• Excellent communication and guest service abilities
• Solid understanding of budgeting, cost controls, and P&L management
• Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office tools
• Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations with a focus on quality, service, cleanliness, and team development.
• Oversee front- and back-of-house, labor scheduling, inventory management, and financial performance.
• Drive guest satisfaction and uphold brand standards.
• Train and develop managers and hourly staff.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards and regulatory compliance.
• Resolve guest issues and ensure home store success (Tyler, TX).
• Ensure home store responsibilities post-training are met.
