Job summary

Popeyes is seeking a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive guest satisfaction, and achieve financial goals in our Joplin restaurant. You will model leadership, mentor staff, and foster a high-energy culture focused on quality and service.

As GM, you will manage costs, scheduling, training, and performance while delivering an exceptional guest experience and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This is a high-impact leadership role within a fast-growing brand.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, ideally as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus)
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Financial and business acumen, including understanding of P&L statements.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards in food quality, guest service, and cleanliness.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop top talent for all team positions.
• Motivate and coach team members and managers to achieve goals and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Oversee inventory management, food and labor costs, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Drive sales growth and profitability through operational excellence and local marketing.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks efficiently.
• Build a positive team culture that reflects Popeyes values.
