Job summary

Popeyes is seeking a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, uphold high standards of quality and service, and drive a strong guest experience. You will recruit, train, and develop team members, monitor inventory and costs, and ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.

In this role you will motivate leaders, manage scheduling and payroll, and steer local marketing to grow sales while cultivating a positive, inclusive team culture at Popeyes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus).
• 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, ideally as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Financial and business acumen, including understanding of P&L statements.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards in food quality, guest service, and cleanliness.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop top talent for all team positions.
• Motivate and coach team members and managers to achieve goals and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Oversee inventory management, food and labor costs, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Drive sales growth and profitability through operational excellence and local marketing.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks efficiently.
• Build a positive team culture that reflects Popeyes values.
