Job summary

Pacific Bells, the Taco Bell franchisee, is seeking a Restaurant General Manager in Lynden, WA. You will provide overall leadership and direct supervision for operations of a single Taco Bell unit, ensuring cleanliness, hospitality, product quality, speed of service, and profitability.

The role includes hands-on training, staff development, cost controls, and compliance with all laws. You will hire, coach, and appraise crew and managers, maintain staffing levels, and drive sales growth.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience with direct supervision of restaurant staff.
• Ability to train and coach crew members and shift leaders.
• Experience in hiring processes and performance appraisals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost controls for food, labor, cash, and expenses per guidelines.
• Drive sales growth by improving key metrics like speed of service and food quality.
• Ensure adequate staffing for all days and shifts.
• Conduct performance reviews for crew, shift managers, and AGMs.
• Hire and onboard new crew, shift leaders, and AGMs.
• Coach and train staff to achieve certifications and performance targets.
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance with sanitation guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
• Ensure a safe restaurant environment and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Deliver excellent guest service and handle complaints to Foster repeat business.
• Provide feedback to area coach through daily calls and weekly meetings.
• Handle cash and register duties as required.
