Job summary

Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. seeks a Restaurant General Manager in Pearisburg, VA to lead the restaurant team, drive sales growth, and uphold top-quality service and cleanliness with profitability focus.

The role requires 2-5 years of GM experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage labor, training, and operations. Excellent references and a valid driver’s license are essential; managers work alongside crew to lead by example.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 2-5 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager.
• Good references; available to work all shifts and weekends.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Interview and hire staff to operate the restaurant per company standards and regulations.
• Schedule sufficent staff to operate and manage guest flow; control labor costs.
• Train management and crew using current training system; evaluate performance.
• Design a development plan with each employee to improve performance.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships; provide coaching and discipline as warranted.
• Conduct crew and management meetings to discuss procedures, promotions, safety and training.
• Maintain inventory to meet company food cost variance standards; ensure product availability.
• Maintain records and reports per company standards and regulations.
• Maintain building and equipment with proper operating, cleaning and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Responsible for all cash; ensure adherence to cash procedures.
• Ensure personal appearance meets company standards and professionalism.
• Adhere to HR, sanitation, safety and security policies to ensure a safe environment.
• Represent Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. professionally at all times.
