Denny’s in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Restaurant Manager to direct daily operations on-site, oversee guest service and brand standards, and lead staff development. Strong emphasis on controlling costs, implementing company initiatives, and achieving profit goals.

The role requires 3+ years in restaurant management, a strong operations background, and ServSafe/food safety certification. Weekend/evening work and occasional travel are expected.

Formación

• 3+ years’ experience in restaurant management, additional operations and / or leadership experience preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but individual with high school diploma or equivalent and a proven, successful operations background will be considered.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the RREMC organization.
• Communicates effectively in the English language.
• Food Safety Manager Certification.
• Ability to identify and anticipate opportunities and implement corrective action steps.
• Places value on diversity and shows respect for others.
• Disciplined and flexible with the ability to adjust to changing local market and restaurant conditions while properly balancing work with personal life.
• Solid financial and business acumen.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Periodic travel to include occasional overnight travel.
• Licensed to operate an automobile without hours of operation restrictions.

Responsabilidades

• Directs restaurant operations with responsibility for guest service, Hospitality, brand standards execution, and employee training.
• Oversees controllable costs and drives profit and flow-through goals.
• Ensures timely implementation of company initiatives and promotions.
• Develops Restaurant Managers and hourly employees through training programs and development plans.
• Ensures equipment and facilities comply with standards and takes corrective action when required.
• Attracts, hires, and retains hourly talent to meet staffing and service standards.
• Collaborates with DM on attracting, hiring and developing Restaurant Managers.
• Handles employee relations issues and deviations from brand standards with HR involvement as needed.
• Develops and executes local store marketing to engage civic, business, school, and professional groups to drive sales and guest counts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
