Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-volume kitchen and frontline staff, ensuring safe operations, efficient food prep, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will support the General Manager with scheduling, budgeting, and daily reporting, while driving sales and maintaining food safety standards to maximize customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years restaurant management experience.
• 2+ years managing operations with annual sales volume of $1M+.
• 2+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, with adherence to proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, talent acquisition and development, and reporting.
• Train and develop staff in preparing and packaging customer orders to maximize service.
• Understand financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, to drive business changes.
• Address customer feedback to improve the overall dining experience.
