Job summary

IHOP in Auburn, ME is seeking an Immediate Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations, guest service, and a winning team. You will drive guest satisfaction, ensure SOP compliance, and manage front- and back-of-house activities.

The role requires a high school diploma, English proficiency, and basic computer skills. You will recruit, train, schedule, and develop staff, handle complaints, and report performance metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Basic computer skills (Email, MS Excel, MS Word is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Execute guest service and human resource objectives according to IHOP SOP.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with employees and franchisee organization.
• Manage restaurant floor, ensuring regular guest contact.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly.
• Ensure SOP compliance in recruitment, training, operations, food safety and security practices.
• Supervise recruitment, training, workflow, performance appraisals, and conflict resolution.
• Complete required reports and paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain personnel files with necessary documents.
• Available to work days, nights, and weekends.
