Job summary

Off The Hook in Baton Rouge is seeking an Assistant General Manager/General Manager to set strategic direction, uphold culture, and drive results through people development, sales, and profit growth.

You will lead operations, ensure quality, safety, and guest satisfaction, coach teams, execute marketing plans, and foster relationships with the local community while maintaining our Cajun, fast-service ethos.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• ServSafe certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability.
• Ensure operational policies, procedures, and standards to maintain consistency and meet business objectives.
• Monitor sales, trends, and take corrective actions as needed to achieve financial goals.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing leadership and coaching.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, increase sales and promote brand awareness.
• Build and maintain relationships with the community.
• Address operational challenges and resolve conflicts or issues promptly and professionally.
• Report all crises or emergencies to leadership in a timely and effective way.
