Restaurant General Manager

The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) ensures compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruitment and retention of team members, financial accountability, and ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns.
• Engage positively with guests.
• Recruit, hire, develop, and motivate team members; manage work schedules.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for employees and customers.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and presentation of ingredients and menu items with food safety in mind.
• Implement local marketing strategies to grow sales.
• Manage administrative duties such as employee timekeeping, inventory, cash handling, and sales reporting.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent.
• At least one year of related experience or training.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Effective communication skills with groups of customers or employees.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
