Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets quality service and customer satisfaction standards. This role involves creating a positive work environment and dining experience for guests, coaching, mentoring, and caring for staff.

Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed budgets focusing on cost of goods sold and EBITDA
  • Manage daily paperwork including sales reports, inventory, and other documentation to ensure profitability
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
  • Conduct monthly inspections using the Unit Inspection form
  • Order all necessary food and supplies daily
  • Hire, discipline, and develop staff members
  • Develop a staff member to assume duties in your absence
  • Hold monthly meetings with staff to facilitate communication
  • Engage with the community to promote business and increase sales
  • Enforce brand standards, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure all HR and payroll documentation is completed accurately and timely
  • Train staff on POS systems and operational procedures
  • Report any operational hurdles to the District Manager or VP of Operations
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Effective communication skills with staff
  • Ability to cover all shifts during operation hours
  • Previous restaurant experience required
  • Current ServSafe Certification

Compensation: $850.00 per week
