Salary: $65K - $85K annually, based on experience and location, with additional bonus potential.

Travel Requirement: This role requires extensive travel of up to 90%, nationwide, including overnight stays. The team member must reside near an airport to support frequent travel needs.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in management within a real estate portfolio.
  • Travel to properties, possibly out of state, to support daily operations and management activities.
  • Achieve high net operating income through cost control and collections.
  • Maintain high occupancy levels.
  • Develop marketing plans, stay informed of market conditions, and understand competitive pricing.
  • Provide operational and financial data to the Regional Manager promptly.
  • Lead and develop onsite teams through effective management training and clear standards.
  • Implement company policies and procedures.
  • Lead team meetings and foster a motivating environment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly.
  • Support maintenance teams to ensure efficient operations and high-quality services.
  • Ensure all physical aspects of properties are operational and safe.
  • Schedule vendors to prepare units for occupancy.
  • Regularly inspect grounds, buildings, and units.
  • Complete and analyze market surveys.
  • Perform other related tasks as needed.
Special Requirements:

Physical Demands: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, communicate, and reach; occasional climbing. Work at a computer and on the phone for extended periods. Ability to detect alarms and work flexible hours, including weekends.

Attendance/Travel: Extensive travel up to 90%, including overnight stays. Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and company events.

Essential Skills:
  • Handle high-stress situations effectively.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent collection, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with a strong sales background.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws.
Qualifications:
  • Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; knowledge of Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, Resident Check preferred.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications (CPM, CAM, RMP, CMCA) preferred.
  • Minimum two years management experience in multifamily industry.
