JOB SUMMARY

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for ensuring the restaurant meets quality of service and customer satisfaction standards. The incumbent will create a positive work environment and dining experience for guests. This role involves coaching, mentoring, and caring for staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Meet or exceed budgets focusing on cost of goods sold and EBITDA.
  2. Manage all daily paperwork including sales reports, inventory, and other documentation to ensure profitability.
  3. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  4. Conduct monthly inspections using the Unit Inspection form.
  5. Order all necessary food and supplies daily.
  6. Hire, discipline, and develop staff members.
  7. Train staff in proper operations of POS systems and restaurant functions.
  8. Establish community presence to drive business and increase sales.
  9. Enforce brand standards, policies, and procedures.
  10. Ensure all HR-related paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
  11. Notify management of any operational hurdles.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Effective communication skills with all staff levels.
  • Availability to cover all shifts.
  • Previous restaurant experience required.
  • Current ServSafe Certification.
