The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of a local Firehouse Subs restaurant and will be held fully accountable for the store's profitability while adhering to all Food Safety guidelines as well as Franchise Operations guidelines.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years restaurant store management/general manager experience.
- Preferably an associate's degree in business management, marketing, or hospitality.
- Must hold and maintain a Manager Food Safety Certification within 8 weeks of hire.
- Availability to work in-store 45-55 hours per week, including at least 2 nights and weekends, and all days the store is open.
- Proficiency with computers and technology.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to chest height.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, wage and hour laws, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, OSHA, and others.
- Enforce all Firehouse Subs policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership to ensure superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness, fostering a cheerful and fun work environment aligned with Firehouse Subs' culture and values.
- Maintain profitability by managing food costs, labor, utilities, and sales growth within established guidelines.
- Implement current operational plans and company initiatives profitably and timely.
- Ensure proper staffing with qualified and well-trained personnel.
- Provide ongoing training and development for staff.
- Participate actively in local restaurant marketing efforts.
- Promote Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
- Complete all required reports and legal documents accurately and on schedule.
- Engage in community affairs to enhance sales and public relations.
- Represent Firehouse Subs professionally at all times.
- Communicate issues impacting the business to the Operations/District Manager.
- Maintain restaurant equipment and report problems promptly.
- Work on your feet for up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Additional Duties:
- Maintain up-to-date daily workflow.
- Verify cash funds daily and report discrepancies over $20.
- Schedule staff and handle hiring processes.
- Train new hires across all shifts.
- Conduct weekly and monthly inventory counts.
- Complete daily and weekly operational reports.
- Manage COVID-19 health checks and policies.
- Order all store products.
