Job Requirements
The Restaurant Manager provides strong, positive leadership to ensure exceptional guest experience, operational excellence, and profitable top-line sales. They oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations in alignment with Dunkin' standards, franchisee policies, and applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all duties of Restaurant Team Members
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise all restaurant team members, including Shift Leaders, Bakers, and support staff
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, providing coaching, and resolving conflicts
- Implement and oversee training programs to enhance team performance
- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, a strong work ethic, and adherence to company values
- Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing, cash management, inventory control, and adherence to brand standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Build and maintain a guest-focused culture, reviewing feedback and implementing action plans for improvement
- Develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity
- Deliver outstanding customer service and address guest concerns effectively
- Manage food and labor costs, inventory levels, and waste to maximize profitability
- Engage with the local community and explore partnership opportunities
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify business opportunities
- Communicate priorities, goals, and performance results to the team
- Oversee new product rollouts, marketing initiatives, and in-store promotions
- Manage vendor orders to ensure sufficient stock of all products
- Conduct self-assessments and implement corrective actions for food safety and brand compliance
- Ensure the restaurant meets budget expectations set by the franchisee
