Join Our Team as a Restaurant General Manager
  • $60,000 / year Base Pay

Are you an experienced food service professional with a passion for high-volume operations, a commitment to food safety, and strong leadership skills?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant General Manager at Bradley International Airport (BDL). If you thrive in a fast-paced food environment and are ready for a challenging and rewarding role, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage All Front of House and Kitchen Activities: Supervise and evaluate team member performance, ensure proper completion of tasks, and provide feedback, including disciplinary actions.
  • Focus on Food Quality: Ensure food quality and standards, maintain recipe adherence and portion control, and ensure compliance with company and food safety standards.
  • Cost Control: Optimize food and labor costs to maximize profitability.
  • Lead and Develop the Team: Recruit, train, and communicate with team members. Develop daily goals, assign tasks, and maintain guest service standards and brand specifications to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Systems and Processes: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health/sanitation standards.
  • Merchandising and Displays: Maintain merchandising standards, display presentations, signage, and monitor inventory levels.
  • Office Management: Manage funds, media, inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and payroll.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Monitor sales performance through reports and market analysis.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or coursework preferred.
  • Experience & Technical Training: Minimum of three years of restaurant management experience, specifically in a full-service restaurant as a General Manager. Culinary background is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and POS systems. Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact effectively at all levels, resolve conflicts, and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.
