POSITION SUMMARY:

The perfect Restaurant General Manager at Qdoba is a confident decision-maker with a proven track record in guest/customer service, employee management, business and financial management, and people motivation. He or she is an excellent communicator—both in writing and verbally. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Focusing on your people by creating a culture of high employee retention and full staffing.
2. Managing crew members to encourage growth and reduce turnover.
3. Interviewing and hiring team members.
4. Training your team with passion and purpose to empower their full potential.
5. Training, monitoring, and reinforcing food safety procedures.
6. Building sales through delicious food, hospitality, and a clean restaurant and kitchen.
7. Maintaining fast, accurate service, providing excellent customer service, and modeling restaurant hospitality.
8. Ensuring continual improvement of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
9. Leading your business effectively.
10. Maximizing store sales versus budget, including participation in marketing programs.
11. Overseeing and increasing catering sales.
12. Managing food and labor costs.
13. Executing company policies and procedures.
14. Anticipating and resolving problems proactively.

QUALIFICATIONS

To remain compliant with state and federal laws, you must be at least 18 years old.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 5+ years QSR experience with 2+ years in a leadership role.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Excellent prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Effective verbal and written communication. Highly motivated, organized, and demonstrating integrity and ethical behavior. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, recruit, hire, coach, train, and motivate employees. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift equipment and cases weighing approximately 10-50 lbs. Ability to speak and hear clearly, operate a computer, and communicate effectively.
