Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:
  1. Work a 50+ hour week, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  2. Engage with the community and develop public relations.
  3. Coordinate with suppliers and service providers.
  4. Communicate with Home Office regarding policies and procedures.
  5. Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure efficient restaurant operation.
  6. Supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service, product quality, equipment maintenance, and sanitation.
  7. Utilize training tools to develop team members.
  8. Implement financial controls and manage company funds responsibly.
  9. Handle customer complaints tactfully to maintain satisfaction.
  10. Evaluate employee performance and recognize achievements.
  11. Forecast sales and expenses to set realistic profit goals.
  12. Make sound managerial decisions regarding employee relations and actions.
  13. Maintain accurate records and reports as required by law and policy.
  14. Develop Assistant Managers and Trainees for future leadership roles.
  15. Ensure a safe working environment for all.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.
