DiBella's Old Fashioned Submarines, LLC is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead location operations, train staff, and supervise culinary activities. You will estimate food usage, purchase supplies, and ensure adherence to recipes, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work on occasion nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Required frequently: standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as the crew handbook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and train location personnel; supervise culinary activities and ensure quality standards.
• Manage procurement and usage estimates for food; follow company recipes to maintain consistency.
• Lead scheduling, hiring decisions, and performance reviews; ensure safety and sanitation standards.
• Directly supervise restaurant staff and maintain customer service excellence.

Description

We are looking for experienced Restaurant General Managers that want to make a difference!!

The General Manager will train and manage location personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities; estimate food usages and purchase food; follow company recipes to ensure consistent quality; establish quality standards; ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance; and ensure proper safety and sanitation in location. The General Manager directly supervises restaurant personnel with responsibility for hiring, discipline, performance reviews and more. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines set by DiBella’s. The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on customer services is essential to success in this role.

As a Restaurant General Manager, you set the example of excellent, friendly, and upbeat customer service, and lead the crew. For this reason, we look to hire Restaurant General Managers with previous restaurant experience who are, fun yet firm when necessary, up-beat, and are leaders that motivate others.

Along with leading the crew, your day to day could include making subs, running the register, cleaning, scheduling, and other shift duties.
