Job summary

The Dupont Circle Hotel’s Pembroke Restaurant in Washington, DC is seeking a Food Runner to join The Doyle Collection team. You will deliver food promptly, assist servers, and help maintain a welcoming dining area, collaborating closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff.

We value a positive, energetic attitude and strong guest service skills. Prior restaurant experience is beneficial, and a vibrant work environment with staff events and perks awaits at this luxury hotel.

As a Food Runner, you will play an important role in ensuring our guests receive a seamless dining experience. Working closely with our kitchen and front-of-house teams, you will deliver food efficiently, accurately and with warmth, helping create memorable moments for every guest.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering food to guests promptly and professionally


• Ensuring orders are presented accurately and to the highest standard


• Supporting servers and the wider restaurant team during service


• Communicating effectively with kitchen and front-of-house colleagues


• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming restaurant environment
