Gjelina Group is seeking a Floor Support Associate for GJUSTA in Los Angeles. The role requires keeping tables bussed and clean, supporting operational flow during service, and assisting Expediter, Servers, and Managers with delivering food to guests in a courteous, knowledgeable manner.

Weekend availability is required. The position offers an $18.42 hourly wage DOE plus tips, with a dynamic team in a busy restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years restaurant or related experience (preferred).
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use all relevant items of equipment.
• Understanding, knowledge, and ability to comply with safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Ability to prioritize work activities, provide accurate information and assistance to any management or colleagues' request in a timely and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• The Floor Support Associate ensures the tables are bussed and cleaned in a timely manner.
• Provide full operational support during service, maintaining the cleanliness of the venue pre-service, during service, and after service.
• Set and reset tables in a timely manner, constantly manicuring tables throughout service and clearing tables with efficiency and grace.
• Assist in fulfilling soft beverage orders, coffee & tea orders.
• Provide full operational support to Expediter, Servers, Managers, and to deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional & knowledgeable manner in accordance with all Gjelina standards and procedures.
• Report for duty on time and ensure you use the time clock to check in and out.
• Manage your time, including taking rest and meal breaks in compliance with California Labor Law.
• Maintain high standards of appearance and hygiene that include clean clothes up to dress code standards, nails and hair and no heavy perfumes/colognes.
• Knowledge of all dishes on the menu, to identify them and know their ingredients.
