Job summary

The Gjelina Group is seeking a Counter Attendant at GJUSTA to ensure excellent guest service, accurate orders, and smooth counter operations. You will work in a fast-paced setting, greet customers, and assist with beverage preparation and service.

Weekend availability is required, with a pay rate of $18.42 per hour plus tips. Prior barista and restaurant experience are preferred, and a strong team mindset is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years restaurant or related experience.
• Minimum 1 year barista experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use all relevant equipment.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high customer service focus and greet guests.
• Take guest orders at the POS and complete transactions.
• Prepare espresso drinks and other beverages.
• Organize and maintain counter areas and stations.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and stock readiness.
• Respond to menu or drink questions with knowledge.
