Job Description

The Restaurant Manager supports the Assistant General Manager in daily operations, overseeing front-of-house staff including servers, bartenders, food runners, hosts, bussers, and barbacks. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with hiring, training, evaluating, and terminating staff
• Handling incidents involving employees and guests
• Maintaining service standards and operational efficiency
• Ensuring health and safety compliance
• Managing food and beverage needs and inventory
• Monitoring financials such as sales and costs
• Planning restaurant activities and events
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience managing or leading a front-of-house restaurant team
• Understanding of steps of service
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Restaurant Management or Hospitality preferred
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverages is highly desirable

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000.

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting
• Food Handler’s License preferred
