Job Description

The Restaurant Manager assists the Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) in managing daily operations of Eataly’s full-service restaurants. Reports to the Restaurant AGM and oversees front-of-house staff including servers, bartenders, food runners, hosts, bussers, and barbacks.

• Supports hiring, training, evaluating, and terminating staff
• Resolves employee and guest incidents
• Ensures high service standards and effective activity execution
• Inspects dining and storage areas for health and safety compliance
• Supervises food and beverage needs and orders
• Monitors financial aspects like sales, inventory, and costs
• Plans restaurant activities and events with staff
• Performs additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience managing a front-of-house restaurant team
• Understanding of steps of service
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Restaurant Management or Hospitality preferred
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverages highly preferred

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000.

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting
• Food Handler’s License preferred
