Job Description

The Restaurant Manager supports the Assistant General Manager in daily operations, overseeing front-of-house staff including servers, bartenders, food runners, hosts, bussers, and barbacks. Responsibilities include:

• Hiring, training, evaluating, and terminating staff
• Handling incidents involving employees and guests
• Ensuring service standards and operational effectiveness
• Maintaining health and safety compliance
• Supervising food and beverage orders
• Monitoring financials like sales and inventory
• Planning restaurant activities and events
• Performing additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years managing a front-of-house restaurant team
• Understanding of steps of service
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s in Restaurant Management or Hospitality preferred
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverages highly preferred

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Physical mobility for up to 8 hours (standing, walking, bending, squatting)
• Food Handler’s License preferred

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000.
