Job summary

Hotel Mission de Oro is seeking a friendly Restaurant Expeditor to join our team in California. This part-time position ensures orders flow smoothly from servers to kitchen, checks dishes for accuracy and presentation, and helps maintain fast, high‑quality service.

You will rotate with Server Assistant and Buffet line, train in menu details, uphold sanitation standards, and support opening/closing tasks. The role requires standing 8–12 hours, flexibility for nights/weekends, and California food

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or expeditor role preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for 8--12 hours.
• California food handlers’ certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders reach the table quickly and accurately.
• Pass orders to kitchen staff and verify final dish quality.
• Open to rotation across Server Assistant, Food Expeditor, and Buffet line.
• Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment.
• Adhere to sanitation procedures.
• Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work.
