Skamania Lodge, a Pacific Northwest resort, is seeking a friendly expediter/server for a part-time on-site role in Washington. You will read, check, and manage tickets; ensure plates match orders; greet guests; support servers and keep stations organized.

We value quick learners who stay calm under pressure, communicate well, and thrive in fast-paced service. A WA Food Handlers Certification is required or supported by us.

Qualifications

• Worked in a high-volume restaurant as an expediter or server.
• Solid knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
• Warm, engaging, professional personality on every shift.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments and stays calm under pressure.
• Passionate about guest experiences and service quality.
• Strong communicator and collaborator.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stay on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Read, check, and manage tickets as they come in—accuracy is your superpower.
• Ensure every plate leaving the kitchen looks perfect and matches the order.
• Be the friendly face that greets guests as they arrive or move throughout the restaurant.
• Support servers by clearing and resetting tables for arriving guests.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant area.
• Keep service flowing by performing pre-shift prep and maintaining organized server stations.
• Collaborate with teammates from servers to cooks to bartenders.
• Know the ins and outs of the operation—you're the eyes and ears of the floor!
