Job summary

McDonald’s seeks an experienced Department Manager to lead shifts and drive a fast, friendly guest experience. You’ll oversee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory, and support the General Manager to hit kitchen, people, and service goals.

Ideal candidates bring prior restaurant or hospitality management experience, a team‑oriented mindset, and flexible schedules. Must be 18 or older to work in our restaurant network.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
• We’re looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who like to have fun, with the passion to work the famously fast paced McDonald’s environment.
• You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts each week to ensure fast, accurate, friendly guest experiences.
• Oversee internal functions like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management; set goals and delegate tasks.
• Directly support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in Kitchen, People and Service.
• Partner with restaurant team to ensure safe and efficient operations of the restaurant.
