Job summary

Tahini in San Diego, CA is hiring a Restaurant Crew Member for part-time shifts at Kearny Mesa, Mission Valley & UCSD locations. You’ll greet guests, take orders, build pitas and bowls, and keep stations stocked in a fast-paced, guest-facing role.

Pay starts at $17.85 per hour plus tips, with a typical range shown between $17.85 and $21.85. Weekend availability is required; prior restaurant or customer-service experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, efficient customer service
• Take orders accurately and operate the point-of-sale system
• Build pitas, bowls, salads, and other menu items to Tahini standards
• Prepare and portion fresh ingredients and assist with food prep
• Slice and serve shawarma and support other kitchen stations as trained
• Stock and restock ingredients, packaging, and service stations
• Keep the kitchen, dining room, and service areas clean and organized
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures

Tahini is San Diego's leading Middle Eastern street food concept serving shawarma, falafel, hummus, rice bowls, salads, and house-baked pita in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.

We're looking for energetic Restaurant Crew Members who enjoy working with people, moving quickly, and helping create a great guest experience. Crew Members learn multiple stations and work together to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
