Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Austin is seeking a Restaurant Chef to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. You will lead the kitchen, ensuring product exceeds guest expectations and oversee Ciclo, Live Oak and Room Service in line with production standards.

This role reports to the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef and requires a college degree in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, plus at least five years as a Sous Chef in a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• College degree in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts or related field.
• Minimum of five years as a Sous Chef in a high-volume hotel, restaurant, or luxury hospitality environment.
• Food Handlers Certifications required.
• Work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

About The Role

Four Seasons Hotel Austin is seeking a Restaurant Chef to join our dynamic Food & Beverage Team. We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. Satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of many, we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other’s contribution and importance.

What You Will Do

Are you excited about delivering the best Food & Beverage experience to our guests? This position may be the perfect fit for you! This role is a Department Head level, reporting to the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef. The Restaurant Chef will manage the kitchen team to make sure product always exceeds expectations of the guest. The Restaurant Chef will oversee services of Ciclo, Live Oak and Room Service in accordance with production requirements and quality standards.

What You Bring

• College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of five years of previous experience as a Sous Chef in a culinary/food & beverage line, supervisory, or assistant manager position, preferably in a high-volume hotel, restaurant, or luxury hospitality environment.
• Food Handlers Certifications required.
• Work authorization in the United States.
