Job summary

Grand Hyatt Nashville is seeking an experienced Restaurant Bartender to craft cocktails and pour a curated beverage program. You will engage guests, handle cash, stock the bar, and maintain a clean, inviting service area to drive guest satisfaction and F&B revenue.

Requirements include a high school diploma, TIPS certification, and state age compliance; hotel/bar/restaurant experience is preferred. This is an on-site role with comprehensive benefits and tips-based pay.

Responsibilities

• Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Serve wine, draught beer, non-alcoholic beverages and food.
• Collect money for drinks served and handle cash using POS.
• Stock and replenish glasses, beverages, mixes, fruit, and guest supplies.
• Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Assist in leading assigned associates when in lead capacity.

The Restaurant Bartender will shape the guest experience through excellent service, product knowledge, and engaging hospitality. Your ability to craft beverages, manage bar operations, and create a welcoming atmosphere directly impacts guest satisfaction, food and beverage revenue, and brand reputation. Whether serving solo or supporting a team, your presence at the bar influences the energy and pace of service across the outlet.

How You’ll Shape The Experience & Future

• Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Serve wine draught, bottled beer, non-alcoholic beverages and food.
• Collect money for drinks served.
• Orders and requisitions liquors and supplies. Stock and replenish glasses, beverages, mixes, fruit, and guest supplies.
• Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display.
• Wash glasses, bar, and equipment.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks; prepare appetizers, such as pickles, cheese and cold meats.
• Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• If functioning in a Lead Capacity: (a) take responsibility for assigned associates in the absence of the Supervisor, (b) assign work, and ensure proper performance of assigned associates.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Familiarity with food pairing and cross-selling techniques considered a plus
• Capable of working independently or as part of a larger service team

Pay Rate: $10.00/hour + Tips
