Job summary

Westin Hotel Huntsville in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily dining operations in the hotel’s restaurant and bar, ensuring brand standards and smooth guest service.

You will train new hires, manage floor plans and staff coverage, communicate daily specials and tastings, and uphold safe cash handling practices while delivering exceptional guest experiences to guests and groups.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant dining supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor restaurant associates in their daily work tasks. Assisting staff as required.
• Supervise guest service in the restaurant and bar, assuring brand standards are upheld.
• Establish and re-inforce side work by restaurant staff, to confirm completion.
• Communicate daily, all special groups and/or tastings to be held in the restaurant.
• Set up and confirm daily, the floor plan and coverage for the day with staff.
• Provide approved training for all new hires in the restaurant and/or bar.
• Assist with and/or provide menu classes and/or taste panels, with the staff.
• Enforce safe and accurate cash and card handling by staff.
