Job summary

SONIC Drive-In seeks an Assistant Manager to help the General Manager run daily drive-in operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient restaurant. You will train Team Members and direct shifts to deliver quality service and guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work irregular hours, and adherence to Sonic standards. This position is on-site at a Sonic Drive-In location and offers opportunities for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience or equivalent.
• Strong communication and math basics.
• Ability to follow directions and work autonomously with guidance.
• Adherence to Sonic appearance and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
• Train and support Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to meet service standards.
• Open and/or close the restaurant.
• Monitor staffing, inventory and food cost controls.
• Complete weekly inventory and maintain records.
• Ensure guest requests are addressed and complaints resolved.
