Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza (Franchisee of Pizza Hut) is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to assist with daily restaurant operations and ensure friendly, personalized service with great food delivered promptly in a clean, inviting environment.

We seek a self-motivated, dynamic team player to support the General Manager and District Manager, lead a team in a fast-paced setting, and uphold operational standards. Training and development will be provided to achieve management goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience (high volume food service concepts preferred).
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays (Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas).
• Valid Driver's License and access to private transportation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant's daily operations.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate staff.
• Oversee coaching and development of staff and managing team relations.
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for the fun, family environment in the restaurant.
