Job summary

Zaxbys in Orlando is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and consistent adherence to standards.

You will train and coach team members, plan schedules, monitor safety and food quality, and drive quarterly performance goals while maintaining a positive, inclusive culture. 1–3 years of management experience and a flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
• Open availability and ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 48 hours per week
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Successful completion of background check
• Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others
• 1-3 years management experience required

Responsibilities

• Engage in training requirements and management development plans
• Enhance guest experiences by ensuring team meets guest expectations
• Create and maintain schedules following company standards and laws
• Plan and delegate shift assignments and communicate expectations
• Supervise and coach team members to achieve quarterly goals
• Maintain service, product quality and cleanliness
• Report performance concerns to General Manager
• Mentor and develop team members
• Foster positive culture and team morale
• Handle guest and team concerns professionally
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain records and compliance with laws
• Escalate concerns to supervisors as needed
• Perform all other duties necessary for restaurant operations
