Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza, a Pizza Hut franchisee in San Antonio, seeks a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help run daily operations and deliver friendly, efficient service. You will support the General Manager, coach staff, and ensure food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of assistant management experience in a high-volume environment, flexibility for rotating shifts, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum Assistant Manager experience preferred in a high-volume food service concept
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays
• Valid Driver's License in good standing and access to private transportation
• High School diploma or equivalent and required state/federal documents
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem solving, decision-making and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations under the General Manager guidance
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Interview, hire and train team members
• Coach, counsel and develop staff and manage team relations
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facilities management
• Support health and safety inspections and standards
• Set a fun, family environment tone in the restaurant
